Baguette Express Shop Manager, Sandra, has sent an email to
a very famous rock star in the hope he may donate a little something
so we can "auction" it off to really boost the raffle and make
a huge difference to the fight against Breast Cancer.

Sandra has also emailed a very famous TV show presenter,
who is a keen fisherman in the Borders, to ask if he would
consider donating approx 30 mins or 1hr of their time
giving fishing tips/advice of salmon fishing.

However, as yet Sandra has had no reply. But there is plenty
of time ! Fingers Crossed.

Keep checking the webpage regularly here.

Thank you very much.

UPDATE - Friday 13th March 09

Website updated with 2 new additions. Thank you to the donators.
Still no reply from the emails we sent out to the 2 famous gentlemen.
We are still hopeful. c'mon guys, you know you want to!! ;)

UPDATE - Tuesday 17th March 09

Many thanks to Robert "hads" Haddow of Haddow & Rae - formerly
Mike Todd Car Sales Innerleithen.
Mr Haddow has donated a full car service.

UPDATE - Tuesday 7th April 09

B/E Hawick have had a massive interest in their Breast Cancer
Raffle. There has been an overwhelming amount of tickets
purchased. Thanks to everyone.

However, we still have 3 days to go, so c'mon, lets
give a big final push ready for the big day on Friday the 10th.

Remember, although the charity is national, it's still
local people who benefit ! Never forget that when it comes to
an illness like Breast Cancer there is no warning you've got it.
It just happens and there is nothing anyone can do at that first stage.
If anyone is a believer of the old say - "it will never happen to me"
our advice is - wakey wakey !

With every penny raised, Breast Cancer Campaign can continue
their fight to combat the illness, the more they can carry out
their magic in their lab's, the even higher success you have
should you unfortunately require treatment.

A strip of raffle tickets are £1 each. It may well just be the best
pound you ever spend, not onlt could you win a great prize, you
are helping to potentially save a life ! You never know, one day it may be
your own.

If you pop into Baguette Express this week, everyone is wearing
pink! We have pink balloons, banners etc.
This week is Hawicks "PINK WEEK"

Come and join the fun.

PS - In regards to Sandra's ( shop manager) 2 email's
mentioned in this blog. We have recevied - no reply from anyone.
Not even a "thanks but no thanks" Shame as most people
support those 2 gentleman purchasing their items.
