A - Its a newly build website for everyone in the Scottish Borders and beyond to enjoy  
Q - Is it a directory listing all business phone numbers, like the yellow pages ?  
A - No, but we will build up a directory - we hope businesses will send us their details and we will add their logo to any relevant page linking their logo to their own website. We ask that you link Borders Local to you website in return !  
Q - How do businesses get listed ?  
A - Once they email us we will add their details and link their website to us.  
Q - Does it cost anything to add details and advertise with Borders Local ?  
A - NO, its FREE, no cost. If the site gets to a cetain size we may ask for donations to help cover server costs.  
Q - Will you list events which are happening in the Borders ?  
A - Yes, we would ask that viewers also send us forthcoming events so we can put them on Borders Local for all to see.  
Q - I see you have Towns listed, why ?  
A - We are listing some Towns meantime to give a little history about them and also what the particular town has to offer in regards of shopping, visitor attraction, accommodation etc... We are always happy to list other towns and villages.  
Q - Why are you adding pages about mountain biking ?  
A - Mountain biking and leisure cycling are very popular in the Borders. Innerleithen & Peebles are home to the best mountain bike courses in the world, people like reading about whats happening there, plus many borderers are mountain biking enthusiasts.  
Q - Why add pages about motor cycling ?  
A - The Borders has some of the most beautiful roads to ride and scenery to absorb! Many bikers come far and wide to enjoy our region and stop off in our beautiful Borders towns. Additionally we have an excellent motocross track at Ashirk which hosts events for riders also local and coming far and wide.  
Q - Will you be adding pages about fishing ?  
A - Yes, the River Tweed is the most famous salmon fishing river in the world ! We will be adding details about the Tweed and other popular Rivers in the region. We would encourage our fishing enthusiasts to be part of building up the fishing page by sending us details about your favourite river/s, fishing stories, photos etc...  
Q - Will you be adding any pages to the website about Cars/ Motoring etc?  
A - Yes, a motoring page will be created for garage services, car dealers and private vehicle sales ! A bit similar to the fortnightly motoring paper you see in petrol stations/shops etc !  
Q- Can readers send details regarding any of the topics and places listed to help keep the website updated ?  
A - Absolutely yes ! We encourage readers to get involved with Borders Local, the website is for the people of the borders and beyond. Enjoy it and lets make it a success !
